What Can I Do Today?
We are inviting you to become a member of your Regional Interoperability Committee (RIC). These committees were formed to promote greater awareness and support for interoperable communications in Iowa for both LTE (FirstNet) and LMR (ISICS). The groups are aligned with the Iowa Homeland Security Regions.
We hope you will join us in continuing your Regional group's participation. This month the SCIP (Statewide Communication Interoperability Plan) was presented to the board and accepted. This document outlines our state plan for continued improvement for statewide interoperability.
Chair and Vice Chairs:
RIC 6 - CRITICAL - As of this date we have neither a chair or vice-chair for this committee thus no one is providing input for this Region.
Interoperability begins with incremental changes that improve your day-to-day operations.
